For those wanting to achieve a recognised qualification we offer a wide range of RYA practical and shorebased certificated courses. We also offer non certificated leisure courses for those wanting to try something new or to brush up their skills, Rainbow can supply these on your vessel or ours.
| RYA Level 1 & 2 - New to motor/power boating? This gives you the basic knowledge you need to be competent and safe whilst out enjoying the water. A 2 day course designed to have you on the water and boating with a reasonable degree of confidence. Covers launching and retrieval plus basic boat handling skills. A requirement for many insurance companies.

| RYA Intermediate Powerboat Course - The next step upwards after Level 1 & 2. A 2 day course to teach up to a standard for short coastal passages by day. Includes pilotage and passage planning.

| RYA Advanced Poweboat Course - A 2 day course to teach boat handling, pilotage and navigation to a standard for passages in tidal coastal waters, by day and by night. Required for commercial skipper endorsement.
